My research indicates that this is Kirito's (http://swordartonline.wikia.com/wiki/Kirito ) game avatar in Gun Gale Online. Which is, canon-wise, extremely effeminate, but... probably male? It's weird to talk about the sex or gender of digital constructs that have no sex or gender, but only the appearance of sex or gender.
I'm leaving this up, make of it what you will. Oh, and find the the source of the actual art somehow? That would be cool.
The artist appears to be Limha Lekan, so I put his website as the source. Can't actually find the image there, but given the copyright information, it's probably from his project for Sonnori: "2001 'Forgotten Saga 2'. MMO Game / SONNORI (KR)+Wizard Soft (KR) / illustration"
Not quiet sure where to go from here, whether this is fair usage, or whatever.
